On Display Collab Rules

These rules weren't meant to be broken. :-) Seriously, though, we're not trying to crack the whip. But rules are necessary to ensure that the people who really want to do this aren't carrying the dead weight of the people who don't. That said, here's some simple rules...or if you prefer, guidelines.

  • If you miss one (1) collaboration without making arrangements, you're out of the ring. If you need to miss one, e-mail Bethany and there won't be a problem.
  • You can have no more than two (2) consecutive 'pardons' or you're out of the ring - unless there is some extraordinary circumstance.
  • No more than three (3) total 'pardons' in a calendar year or you're out of the ring - unless there is some extraordinary circumstance.
  • When you've finished your collaboration for the month, post your name, journal name, URL of collab, and title of collab entry to the list. This'll help us keep track of who's done it and who hasn't.
  • No fictional collabs. Period. We're a ring of journals, not short stories.
On Display Side Project Rules

Anyone can propose and/or run a side project. Space will be made available to post any related web pages, images, sound/video clips, etc. The rules are very few.

  • The project must be available for participation by the whole group. Please do not exclude anybody who wishes to be involved.
  • Side projects must be announced to the list at least once, so that people can get involved if they are interested. Keeping the group informed with updates is prefered.

That's it! If you've got any questions, complaints, etc., either e-mail us, or post 'em on the list.
